All businesses start with a great idea! Now that you’ve got one, the next step is to think it through and write out a business plan.

QUESTIONS

1. What is the name of your business?

2. What is your big idea? Is it a product or a service? (upto 250 words)

3. Clearly describe the problem your business is trying to solve. (upto 250 words)

4. Describe your business. How does your business solve the identified problem? (upto 250 words)

5. Who will buy your product / service? Describe your customer. Talk about the ‘demographic’ that is, the people that will be interested in your product / service – their age,interests, location etc. (upto 400 words)

6. How will you reach your customer and sell your product or service? (upto 400 words)
a. How will you get the word out about your business?
b. How will you convince your potential customers to buy your product / service?

7. How much will it cost to start your business? (upto 400 words)
    a. What will you need to buy before you can get started? Make a list.
    b. How much will these things cost?
    c. Are there any other costs besides raw materials? What are they?
(Don’t forget to account for your own time or time of others that may help you!)
