Once you submit this application, we will call you to explain the opportunity and answer all your questions on being our partner. Your application will then be shortlisted based on a quick background check.

Video Interview

We will have a video interview to see how you communicate and ability to teach. You will be required to do a short class presentation so we can assess your enthusiasm, energy levels and basic knowledge.

Registration

You will be required to sign a contract and pay a fee to get you started. You will earn back this investment within the first 2-3 months of starting to teach.

Training

You will start training for our programs. Each program will take you 1 week to complete.Once you finish your training, our senior expert teachers will do a final evaluation with a full demo class.

Certification

Once you complete your entire training, you will receive a Hackberry certificate.

We will have an interview to get to know each other. We will see if you would be a fit for Hackberry and answer all your questions you have about being a Hackberry Teaching Centre.

Review, Approve and Sign

Once you are approved as a franchisor, you will be required to sign a contract. You will review and sign agreements.

Planning

Set expectations and timelines, marketing collaterals, business plan, and details.

Training

We would train upto 3 teachers for your centre. Beyond 3 teachers would be chargeable.

Certification

Once you complete your entire training, your centre will receive a Hackberry certificate.

Opening

FAQS

1. I don’t know anything about Coding. Am I eligible to become a Hackberry Certified Teacher and open a coding franchise?

Yes, you can train to become a Hackberry Certified Teacher even if you aren’t a coder. You can apply for the Junior Franchise which is for 4-8 year olds where we teach STEM subjects and programs specifically for younger children. For a Senior Franchise, it is necessary for teachers to have a background in coding or engineering, but if you’re willing to learn, work, and follow us, you have an opportunity to thrive with us.

2. How much is your franchise fee to become a Hackberry Certified Teacher?

Junior Franchise: Rs.20,000 + GST for a period of 1 year.

Senior Franchise: Rs.25,000+ GST for a period 1 year.

Club Franchise : For a combination of Junior + Senior Franchise= Rs.30,000 +GST.

Franchise fee for opening a Hackberry Teaching Centre is Rs.50,000. This includes all the programs included in the Club Franchise, and Certified Teacher training programs for up to 3 teachers. For more details on Hackberry Teaching Centres, please reach out to us.
For every child that enrols - 30% of the fees will come to Hackberry,while you keep 70%.
Every year you will pay a small fee of Rs.5000/- to renew your franchise.

3. Do I need a background in education?

While that can prove quite valuable, it is certainly not a requirement to becoming a Hackberry Certified Teacher (though you must have a bachelor's college degree).

The best Coding franchise owners play an active role in the business, and are interested in making a positive impact on children and their community with their Coding franchise in India. Other qualities we look for are drive, compassion, willingness to learn and enthusiasm.

4. What kind of training will I need to begin teaching coding once I am approved to become a Hackberry Certified Teacher and open my Franchise business in India?

Once we sign an agreement we will get in touch with you about the training. Trainings are typically 1 week per program. Training will be online and self paced. You will have assignments which need to be completed by you and sent back to us.

5. How will you support my franchise?
